Jason Cronin serves as Axiom’s Vice President of Cybersecurity and IT Business Development. Jason brings over 25 years of experience in the DoD, Intelligence Community, Commercial, and Federal Government Sectors in large and small-scale program start-ups, delivery, and operations.
Before joining the Axiom Family, Jason served over 20 years as a Navy Pilot flying Combat and Special Operation Missions. Since retiring from Naval Aviation, Jason has stood-up and led various IT and Cyber programs in the Commercial, Federal sectors, and the DoD. Most recently, Jason served as a Senior Technical & Engineering Advisor to the Undersecretary of Defense for Research & Experimentation (OUSD[R&E]).
Jason received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Naval Academy. He also earned an MBA from University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts Degree in National Security Affairs and Policy from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), and two Master of Science Degrees from UMUC, in IT Information Assurance -and- IT Cybersecurity & Policy. Jason is also currently finishing his Doctorate Degree in Cybersecurity (DSc) from Capitol Technology University in Laurel, MD.
He holds professional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Network+, Security+, ITIL Expert®, CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), Splunk® Certification, and DoD Acquisition Certifications.
